The 750cc engine is liquid-cooled with Suzuki Ram-Air Direct (SRAD) induction and a digital engine management system. Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) are driven by a link-plate chain off a forged crankshaft and open four titanium valves per cylinder.
Reflecting the GSX-R concept of always being The Top Performer, the GSX-R750 is as compact as a 600cc machine for improved acceleration, handling, cornering and braking.
The instrument cluster is a full function type including a gear position indicator. The engine RPM indicator can be programmed for four different rpm settings, which can be used as a reference for up-shift timing on racetracks and on winding roads.
The bodywork is short front to rear to match the short wheelbase, seatheight remains low for a sportbike at 810mm and the design of the 17 litre fuel tank is low, allowing the rider to tuck in more easily.
